The official Zeitgeist Moving Forward movie has been released. There is an unofficial version floating around the internet which was leaked online, but it is not proofed or color corrected. The official version is embedded below.

Months ago, I had submitted my resume to Google for a bunch of Advertising Operations positions in Google New York. I was not actively looking for a new job at the time, but I applied because it was a goal of mine to work for Google. Google is the gold standard of technology companies, and its online advertising program is incredible.

These days, every shared hosting company, including GreenGeeks, offers a "free domain name" or "free domain name for life" promotion on sign up. They both are referring to the same thing. As long as you are paying for their web hosting services, they will waive the annual registration fee for a domain name through their registrar. So theoretically, if you do pay for the web hosting services for life, you indeed can get a "free domain name for life."

Last week, security consultant Ron Bowes made headlines when he successfully scraped facebook data for over 100 million facebook users and made the data available to the public via Bittorrent. Some news articles I read made it seem as though he collected private information, or at least all of the public information available in facebook. Both scenarios are false.

It makes me wonder if most of these writers even downloaded the data to see what Bowes actually shared. Probably not, as the uncompressed text files totaled over 15GB of data. The largest .txt file came in at a whopping 9.66GB. You would have a hard time even finding a program and machine that could open such a file. I have included data samples of every file created by Bowes. Take a look for yourself.
