These days, every shared hosting company, including GreenGeeks, offers a "free domain name" or "free domain name for life" promotion on sign up. They both are referring to the same thing. As long as you are paying for their web hosting services, they will waive the annual registration fee for a domain name through their registrar. Facebook 100 Million Users Data Samples for Download
Last week, security consultant Ron Bowes made headlines when he successfully scraped facebook data for over 100 million facebook users and made the data available to the public via Bittorrent. Some news articles I read made it seem as though he collected private information, or at least all of the public information available in facebook. Both scenarios are false.
It makes me wonder if most of these writers even downloaded the data to see what Bowes actually shared. Probably not, as the uncompressed text files totaled over 15GB of data. The largest .txt file came in at a whopping 9.66GB. You would have a hard time even finding a program and machine that could open such a file. I have included data samples of every file created by Bowes. Take a look for yourself.
